Together with Helaba's Real Estate Finance Nordics team, which operates from Stockholm as well as Helaba's head office in Frankfurt, he is responsible for the bank's real estate ac-tivities in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. Helaba's Stockholm branch also provides services in other areas of the bank's activities, notably Corporate Finance. Helaba has been actively involved in the Nordic market since 2006 and steadily establishing and expanding its operations there over the years. While initially conceived as a representative office, since 2018 the Stockholm office has been operating as a fully-fledged branch with a num-ber of business units.

Michael Kröger, who is in charge of Helaba's international real estate finance business, remarks: "The Nordics have been a key component of our global network since as far back as 2006. We very much look forward to working with Lars in the future thanks to his breadth of experience and also given the seamless handover from Birgitta Leijon, which ensures our customers will continue to benefit from the excellent quality of service they have come to expect."
