Senior Appointments

At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of Helaba Landes­bank Hessen-Thüringen appointed Dr Ingo Wiedemeier (55), who has been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Helaba since 1 April 2026, as Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board effective 1 August 2026. On the Executive Board, Dr Ingo Wiedemeier is responsible for Finance, Organisation and WIBank.

Hans-Dieter Kemler (57) has had his current contract as a member of Helaba’s Executive Board extended once again. Hans-Dieter Kemler started as a member of Helaba’s Executive Board on 1 May 2017 and is responsible for Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, Treasury and Helaba Invest.

Furthermore, the Supervisory Board has taken note that Dr Sonja Rauner (49), who has been Helaba’s Executive Vice President since 1 August 2025, will become a member of the Executive Board from 1 August 2026, following the decision now taken by the European Central Bank. She is responsible for the business areas of Information Technology, Operations and the COO/CIO Office.
