New management at LBS Hessen-Thueringen

Peter Marc Stober (57) has been appointed to manage Helaba's newly created "Savings Banks and SME" sales division with effect from 1 April 2020. Helaba is bundling its services for savings banks and midsize companies in this business division. The aim is to achieve additional improve­ments in its joint marketing activities with the savings banks and more effective colla­boration within the S-Group. Stober joined the Helaba Group in September 2007 as Chairman of the Management Board of Landes­bausparkasse (LBS) Hessen-Thueringen, in which capacity he was responsible for the divisions of corporate strategy, corporate management as well as sales and distribution management.

Stephen Adam (51) is to become a new member of the Management Board of LBS Hessen-Thueringen on 1 April 2020. Adam joined Helaba in the summer of 2015 as head of the Sparkassen Support South division and was responsible for business with savings banks, among other regions in the states of Hesse and Thuringia. Having launched his career at Sparkasse Konstanz in 1987, he then held various positions in the Sparkasse-Finanzgruppe, which was only briefly interrupted by a stint in Deutsche Bank's corporate customer business. Before joining Helaba, he was a deputy member of the Management Board of Sparkasse Vorderpfalz, where he managed the bank's business banking centre in Ludwigshafen. He brings with him many years of experience in product sales, which will prove invaluable to the home loan and savings business.
