Data Protection Policy and Confidentiality

Confidentiality

We attach great importance to processing personal data sparingly, proportionately and only to the extent necessary, as permitted by law. Confidentiality is just as important to us as data security. These principles form the basis for all our business relationships with customers, business partners, suppliers and prospective clients.

Through responsible conduct and appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as policies, procedures and IT security, we ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data.

To ensure and further develop data protection on a long-term basis, we have established clear processes and structures, which include, for example, regular reporting to the Executive Board, ongoing data protection communication for staff and regulated processes for data breaches.

Our safety plan

We have established a company-wide internal framework of policies and minimum standards to protect data and prevent data breaches. These policies are regularly updated to ensure they comply with current legislation and market developments.
Our staff are bound by a duty of confidentiality and must not disclose your data unlawfully or unnecessarily. Should a data breach occur, we will respond immediately and take measures to minimise its impact and prevent further risks.

Data deletion

We delete personal data as soon as it is no longer required for our business purposes and there are no other legitimate grounds for retaining it, such as statutory retention periods.
