Helaba’s governing bodies give green light for talks with Deka

The Board of Owners and the Supervisory Board have instructed Helaba's Board of Managing Directors to initiate discussions with representatives of Deka­Bank Deutsche Girozentrale on how to bundle the strengths of both companies into a powerful central institution in the Sparkassen-Finanz­gruppe with an integrated business model. Discussions are scheduled to begin in January 2020.
