Helaba opens representative office in Singapore more

With a total business volume of around EUR 200 billion and about 6,500 employees, Helaba ranks among Germany`s leading banks. On account of its head offices in Frankfurt am Main and Erfurt, it is firmly anchored in one of the strongest economic regions of Europe.

As a universal bank with strong regional focus, Helaba is closely connected to the savings banks organization. The bank's strategic business model is based on three corporate sectors: business with large corporate customers and the S-Group, business with private customers and smaller and medium-sized enterprises (“SMEs”), and also public development and infrastructure business.

Helaba functions as central bank for the savings banks in Hesse, Thuringia, North Rhine-Westphalia and Brandenburg and therefor is a strong partner for 40 per cent of all German savings banks. The principle, “partnership, not competition”, is the basis for joint market canvassing with the savings banks.

Corporate Citizenship

Turning promising ideas into a reality is part of our day-to-day business, and we are happy to put this skill at the public’s disposal. Committed to the tradition of civic engagement, we lend our support to projects that contribute to the advancement of the region, not only in the worlds of art and culture and social endeavour, but also in the world of competitive sports. And, most importantly perhaps, we always take care to set a good example.
