Finance for expansion of the Fresenius Group’s corporate headquarters in Bad Homburg
Helaba is financing the expansion of Fresenius’ administrative headquarters in Bad Homburg as part of a consortium with KfW IPEX Bank. The finance for this new energy-efficient building, which is being constructed in line with the KfW Efficiency House 70 standard, is being arranged entirely using promotional funds from the KfW Energy Efficiency Programme “Construction and Refurbishment”.
The total investment amounts to EUR 70 million, of which Helaba and KfW IPEX Bank are providing loans with a total volume of EUR 50 million. In addition to office space, the administrative building will comprise conference rooms, a canteen as well as an atrium. With the anticipated completion of the extension in 2019, the Fresenius Group will have consolidated its Bad Homburg location as well as its presence in the Rhine-Main area.
